2026 Spring has Sprung

Wow been a while since I updated the News Page so here we go!

2025 Started great but ended very rough for me having lost my beloved cat at the age of 13 and developing acute laryngitis (swollen epiglottis) which made singing very difficult. As tough as that was I am hoping it was my low point because it threw me into a new mindset of putting my health and wellness first. I am now 3 months into my health journey to lose at least 20 pounds, quit smoking and drinking and start running and going to the gym again. My ultimate goal is to be in the best shape of my life before I turn 40!

Musically this year I am working on tightening my solo performances and promoting The Modern Takes Trio for corporate and private events! I have already made two new videos and hope to make many more in 2026. I am continuing my monthly residencies at my favorite spots like Copper Blues Downtown, Loco Patron Brewery in Scottsdale, and Castle Hot Springs Resort. I also hope to grow the Country Duo - Tails California - with my very talented friend Joel Dalton. Joel has an amazing voice and great musical skills but also a family and works just as much as I do so getting together isn’t easy. We are currently looking for a residency at a bar or restaurant in North Phoenix/Scottsdale/Peoria area, so if you know of a spot that wants some 90’s country vibes by two modern day cowboys let me know!
